Texas only trails California and Florida in registrations of fully electric vehicles. According to figures from labor analytics company Lightcast, Plano saw the most growth in tech job postings in the U.S. between April 2019-April 2020. Those figures have held steady. Public charging stations fall into one of two categories: Level 2 or Level 3. Level 2 charging stations will fill most electric vehicles in four-five hours. A Level 3 fast charger will charge a vehicle in around 30 minutes.
