Plano City Council did not plan to address the direction of the city's short-term rental ordinance until April, but that discussion has been moved up to Monday's preliminary open meeting after over a dozen residents angered by a shooting in their neighborhood spoke out against short-term rentals at last week's meeting. The item's purpose is to update the City Council on Plano's plan for short-term rentals (STRs), according to a letter Director of Planning Christina Day sent to the council Wednesday.
