TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy pairs up with North Texas school district to create new program

PLANO, Texas — Editor's Note: The video above is from an August 2022 story related to a Plano ISD board vote. A new, unique course will soon be available to upperclassmen at Plano ISD that could eventually allow them to take a state licensing exam for their potential careers. During their regular meeting on Jan. 10, the Plano ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a new partnership with the TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy to launch a cosmetology program for the district's juniors and seniors. Plano ISD said it is the first school district nationwide to offer this joint collaboration with the TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy.
